Fuori dal Sommerso
The Cooperative Fuori dal Sommerso was established in 2000, on the initiative of a group of people strongly motivated to work in the social field, following their participation in a specific vocational training course called "The paths of social exclusion": "Fuori dal Sommerso". The course enabled the participants to acquire and experiment, also thanks to multi-regional exchange activities and practical training, specific skills and abilities needed to provide assistance and support to non-self-sufficient persons and, in particular, to the elderly. The decision to build the Cooperative, which was given the name "Fuori dal Sommerso" (Outside the Submerged) as a sign of continuity of the path undertaken, represents the founders' desire to make the skills acquired available to the local community.
