News Agencies
News agencies emerged in the second half of the 19th century. They are journalistic enterprises that are responsible for collecting news that has just happened and communicating it to newspapers and journalists in editorial offices and press offices. The news produced by news agencies are called ''launches'' in the jargon.

Europa Press is a private Spanish news agency. It was founded in 1953.
Consolidated as one of the largest agencies in the country, it broadcasts mainly in Spanish 24 hours a day.
In the mid-1990s, the agency undertook its territorial expansion, opening delegations in the 17 autonomous communities, each with its news service. In this way, news coverage was provided throughout Spain, with journalists in all provincial capitals and correspondents in the main cities of Spain.

"Colpisa was founded in 1972 on the initiative of a group of regional newspapers, leaders in their respective areas of influence, which needed a Madrid-based editorial office to provide independent and objective information.

"The National News Agency ""AGERPRES"" is the oldest Romanian news agency and the first autonomous agency in Romania. It was established in March 1889 as the Telegraph Agency of Romania or Romanian Agency with serving as a ""fast and accurate service of all general or special interest news"". The agency was suspended from the end of 1916 until the end of World War I. On June 16, 1921, it established the agency Orient-Radio, ""caring only for the general interest and that of its subscribers."" During time it had different names, but in July 2008 the National News Agency returns to the AGERPRES name.
